Good first attempt.

Things look grim for Jazela Galaxy when a new dictator named Safuma Poll takes over power. The galaxy's only hope lies in the hands of a plain red robot named Moovlin. Now he has to battle accross the galaxy fighting robots with literally no intelligence and being chased by a bounty hunter named Truff.

The object of each normal stage is to get the end as fast as possible, moving at the speeds comparitive to Sonic the Hedgehog. If that is not the case, then you need to kick the crap out of an enemy boss. Along the way, you have to solve some easy puzzles, traverse the winds, and defy gravity itself!

The controls are intuitive and well implemented. The arrow keys control Moovlin with running, jumping and ducking. The 'D' key executes his spinning attack, which is his only method of attack, for a while at least. You gain more power-ups as you progress through the game, making the stages varied enough not to be bored right away. However, there is one major problem. Sometimes the controls get locked up and instead of registering the correct key that is being pressed down, it will still register another key being pressed while any other keys are being pressed or not. For example, I press the 'D' Key to use Moovlin's spin attack and the key got locked up where he was constantly in that state, preventing me from jumping and ducking. This was fixable by pressing the button again, but when you're in the heat of the game, it becomes frustrating and annoying. Another thing is that at later levels, the controls don't become as responsive as they should. This only hurts game play as you can not control the game the way you want.

The Graphics are simple and plain. This works for a fast paced game as you aren't constantly looking at the graphics. Plus, if the graphics where too detailed, it would only slow down the performance. The frame rate has a great sense of speed, as well. The sounds are good, but there seems to be sound effects missing from certain cut scenes. The voice acting is top notch, seeing as you had help from great voice actors such as TomaMoto, Rina-Chan, and RLFHOG3. I don't know if you did any of the voices, but it doesn't matter. They all where great. The music is varied and, at some points, hilarious. My favorite has to be the Cheese World BGM.

The flying stages aren't as hard as many people seem to make them out to be. You just have to have patience, that's all. Though I can see their point about hittng an obstacle like electric walls and gushing lava giezers being a one hit kill type of deal annoying.

I see that the boss fight with Truff was fixed a little, but I still found myself dying mysteriously sometimes. This can be frustrating especially when it's a boss fight, and the first one at that. But the hit detection on Truff was improved!

Like I said earlier, the controls aren't perfect and can actually get in the way of gameplay. The characters are still plain and should have a little detail. Safuma Looks like a mess of a salad in a suit. The level designs are a little too simple, too. This does work with a fast-pace game, but try to add a little more height. Another thing is that at later levels, the checkpoint feature is skipped upon dying, where the game would go back to the beginning without any input form the player. I think this bug may have something to do with the controls flaw where they would lock up sometimes.

Overall, it's a great first attempt, but I think you tried to add too much right away. The game has some moments where the comedy would kick in during the cut scenes, so this did add the enjoyment of the game. The medals are very intuitive and a great addition as well.

Armor Games Latest Triumph.

The concept of this game revolves around you, a lone gunner Commander, who is involved in the defense of the human civilization from invading aliens using the most advanced weapon in the Omega Sector: the Experimental Omega Cannon. Will you triumph in bravery, or cower in fear?

While this concept itself sounds great, the cannon itself just doesn't feel all that powerful, unless our technology isn't as advanced as the alien's technology.

The controls are simple. Navigate the viewport using the arrow or wasd keys and shoot with the left mouse button. Pressing the space button brings up the "manage" menu, which allows you to build defenses that will aid you. Pressing P or clicking outside the boarder of the Flash Game itself brings up the Pause Menu. The 1-4 keys focuses on your warships, while ESC focuses on the main cannon.

The graphics look awesome, the animation is superb, but the sound was lacking. There was no BG music. I can see how that it can be distracting, but people like BGMs.

The only downside is that the viewport doesn't allow enough space to view your surroundings. I also find that if you click fast enough, the pause menu will be brought up. This can get really annoying when you are in the heat of the battle.

I also think medals would have worked well here, too.

Thank you for the review ! Wow :-D. Anyway I'm also a bit curious about the pause bug, since I can't seem to confirm it on my Firefox 3.6.3 and Flash Player 10.1 . Would you be kind enough to give me your browser type, flash player version and on which level did this bug happen ? Once again thank you !

Nice entry, too hard for casual gamers.

There is not much to say here about this game, other than a lot of work needs to be done on it.

The controls were good, except they were slow and sluggish. There should have been a double jump or a crouching button. Also, dashing would have helped out here. The use of the mouse may have been implemented better here. Just maybe.

The graphics were excellent, and the animation was good, but not too impressive. However, I noticed a couple of bugs with the collision detection with the main weapon of the boss. Even if you're clear of the blast, you still get melted. The sound wasn't great though. Needs more work.

The fact that it only takes one shot to kill you and multiple shots to take out the enemy (and way to many for the boss), it left me frustrated has to how there was literally no time to attack the boss without getting zapped, while dodging the minions at the same time.

I actually lost interest in this game. I'm sorry, but it is nearly impossible to beat. I have yet to get the boss's health down to three-quarters, let alone half.

You have the reflexes of a statue!

Taking the multiple paths, or multiple endings as some call it, genre to a whole new level! The comedy in which is involved in this title is at its very best.

The controls are simple as you only use the mouse and left mouse button for all interactions. This actually worked out extremely well and all the context buttons worked without fail and no lagging.

The graphics weren't the best I've ever seen, but for this reason, the graphics work very well here and the animation is very smooth. The reason sound got the lowest score (and still got a pretty damn good score) is because the sound effects used were from another game. But again, they worked well here though and you can't reference other titles without the correct sound effects.

To be honest, I really see no flaws to this game. The secret medal was a little difficult to find, though. However, I found it actually relatively quick. Using the actual hint the author provided us is really helpful. And the game was short, too. All medals were found within 5 to 10 minutes.

Thanks, PuffballsUnited, this title was outstanding. The opacitator joke was funny, too! Nice work and hope to see another sequel soon!

Awesome review! Glad you enjoyed it!

Cliched games at its best!!

This is an interesting concept. The game works as a platform-slash-rpg game in way that actually molds together. The dialogue was written well and proved to be funny. The most interesting aspects are the skills and their levels. Levelling them up is a similar concept to that of "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion" as you level them up by performing those specific skills. You can level up a skill by jumping, running, or even just by standing idle!

The controls at the beginning were a little confusing at first (even for being as simple as they are), but after a while you can get used to them. Clicking outside the flash area pauses the game, but should have been implemented as a key such as the 'P' key as well.

The graphics were pretty good as the animation was smooth and brought back an SNES feel to the game. The only flaw I see is sometimes when running, the run animation seems to either skip frames or lag. The sound also seems to done well and also brought back that SNES feel.

With that being said, there are only two problems I really have with this game. One, at the end of each day, you lose all your experience for everything. Kinda like the Majora's Mask idea. I guess it's because I'm not used to this part of the concept. Or maybe there's a skill I haven't found yet. But after a while, I guess I'll get used to it. The other is the fact you have nothing to protect yourself with like a weapon or something. Maybe I'm being to harsh, but that's how I feel.

Anyway, this a great game that anybody should try out that will give you hours upon hours of game time!

Delivery...Completed! |_

This is a very short and funny game. Nothing really complicated. Burn down your house and fly your airplane (who knows how you where able to afford one anyway) into the IRS building (maybe he rented the plane?). As a matter of fact, I don't think there is any way to fail at this game!

The controls are very simple. Use the mouse to move the guy and the airplane, and click the left mouse button to throw fuel or the match onto your house. Plain and simple!

The graphics and sound gave this title an old school feel to it. And it works very well. The fluidness of the animation and movement made the controls very...er...well...controllable.

Unfortunately, there are only three medals to achieve, which all three were extremely easy to get. This dimmed down the fun factor, a lot. The replay value would have increased more if the game where a bit longer and had more medals. Other than that, this was done rather well.

A monkey's fantasy game!

An interesting concept that actually made me laugh before I even clicked the link. I really wasn't expecting much to begin with. So in all fairness, I found this game to be quite enjoyable, until about 2 minutes into it then it gets repetitive real fast.

This game features the simplest of all the controls. Press the left mouse button to throw rocks at little moving, well shaped turds. That's it. No strategy needed here. This isn't exactly "rocket surgery" here. So expect sore fingers.

The sound was pretty good though. nothing too impressive, but adequate. The graphics were smooth enough to allow this game to be very playable.

I've seen some of the reviews that this game received a 0 (that's a zero) for. Apparently not all users here are perverted like most people here. I'm actually glad to see that. But you do need a good sense of humour to enjoy this game, which I have.

Die, cuties, die!

A great title that should be on everybody's favorite list. The sound effects are just hilarious and the graphics are cartoonish, silly, and very well constructed. The controls are very good and feel just right. The A.I. was done pretty well, as they jump when necessary and shoot pretty good. The Achievements where also done well and a great idea as it improves the Replay Value.

However, just like in any game, there are flaws. First the collision between he player and the enemies needs to be fixed, especially when you get cornered.

Second, there is no continue feature, or lives for that matter. There is not enough health that it should include those mentioned features before.

Third, the upgrade tree needs improvement as you can only select one upgrade and go from there. You can't switch your upgrades to try them out. The ability to switch the guns purchased through the upgrade tree could fix that. You could allow the switching by using the mouse wheel, or any button you think is right.

Fourth, there is some noticeable slow down in the frame rate and I found myself continuing fire when I released the fire button leading to overheats caused by this flaw.

All in all, it is a great title on Newgrounds, and should see a next title, just maybe. Very close to a perfect score.

Great Graphics, but that's about it...

This should have been a great title on Newgrounds. The Graphics and animation are superb. Unfortunately, the game suffers from it's 'Dynamic Camera' as it constantly zooms in and out, so I could barely see or tell what's going on. I never knew I picked up a power-up until I used it, so they are a little hard to spot. Also, I do agree the mouse should have been used at least as an alternate control method via options.

I found the game to be a sight to behold, but that is not enough as game play was frustrating at best. It's a great attempt and an honorable mention. Just keep what the people said in mind in your next game.

Good little game here.

A little different than other games I've played, but it's good. Just wish you'd finish it! I have taken into account that this game is not finished, so score won't be affected by it.

And for those of you who are wondering where to go after freeing Gambit, you can't advance further into the story after that due to the fact that this is an unfinished submission. It says so in the Author Comments section.
